Christopher S. Moser, Funeral Director & Manager
Chris joined the business with his father serving the community almost 40 years ago.  At that time the name was changed to the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc.  He lives in Little Falls where he is active in area affairs.

Chris has lived almost his entire life in the Mohawk Valley, only leaving for college and for his residency as a funeral director..He is a graduate of Fort Plain Central School, Class of 1995 and Hudson Valley Community College. Chris received his National Board Certification in 2000, Chris is a former Boy Scout and was awarded the high honor of Eagle Scout as well as being elected to The Order of the Arrow. Chris is a member of the Fort Plain Masonic Lodge #433 serving as Past Master. He is also a member of the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite Yahnundahsis Valley of Utica, The Hiram Union Chapter #53 Royal Arch Masons of Canajoharie, The Fort Renesselaer Club and the Canajoharie-Fort Plain Elks Club. Chris and his wife are also members of St. John and St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Canajoharie, While he is still busy in the community, Chris makes sure to spend time with his Wife, Nerissa, who he married July 15th, 2012, in Isla Muejers, Mexico. Together they enjoy their two children, spending time with friends and family and volunteering in the communities. Nerissa works as a Regional Vice President of a financial firm and is known to help Chris out at the funeral home when needed.

Nicole M. Barber, Funeral Director

Nicole grew up in the Fort Plain area, attending and graduating from Fort Plain High School, Class of
2001. Following high school, Nicole went to college at SUNY Cortland. She received a Bachelor of
Science degree from SUNY Cortland in Psychology and Social Philosophy. Nicole then returned to
the area in 2007, taking on the Office Manager position at the funeral home. While working for the
funeral home as office manager, she decided to enroll in the Mortuary Science program at Hudson
Valley Community College, graduating with Honors in 2015. Nicole obtained her funeral directors
license in 2017.
Nicole is a member of the Canajoharie/Fort Plain Elks #2621. She and her husband, Charles live in
Fort Plain and have 2 children that attend Fort Plain Schools.
