Mom was the kindest, sweetest, quietest, smartest, amazingest, handiest, thoughtful and frugalest woman. She would go without so we did not. She was there when we needed her, ready to listen.
Family and pets were her world.
She became an over the road truck driver and bought her dream home.
But life was not kind to her. She went through extremely hard times from coping with family deaths, not having money for Christmas gifts one year, divorce, to major health issues. In spite of her health, she had an incredible will to live.
Mom-we will love you forever and you will be deeply missed. Be at peace. We are jealous of the angels.

The many memories that we shared began with playing girls basketball together in 7th grade, Jr. High School.
And continued on over the years as June drove my children on the school bus to school everyday.
Our love for basketball continued in later years as we were UConn girls basketball die hard fans.
We watched every game. June would research and find out when and where the next game would be played so we could cheer the girls on.
We talked on the phone as she would have a bit of news a few times a week. So we surely kept in touch.
June was a kind and good friend that I will truly miss.

I have known June for a very long time. She was our bus driver for years and always had a lot of patience waiting for me and my brother to get to the bus. She got a kick out of my mother cheering in the driveway on the first day of school knowing it was a long summer with us home. June also helped me out when I showed up at her house with a kitten a couple years ago. I said I cant keep him. She said I will. I heard a lot of funny stories about the cat she grew to love. My mom and June were good friends, talking on the phone and keeping up with U Conn girls basketball. June was kind hearted and she will be missed. Love , Cindy Lanphier Guiney
