Obituary of Allen L. Null
LITTLE FALLS - Allen L. Null, 61 of 599 E. John Street, Little Falls passed away unexpectedly Saturday, March 13, 2010 at the Bassett Medical Center, Cooperstown.
He was born on September 5, 1948 in Little Falls the son of the late Eugene R. and Viola G. (Provorse) Null. He was a graduate of Little Falls High School class of 1967 and following his naval service he attended Mohawk Valley Community College, Utica where he received his Associates Degree.
Mr. Null was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving with the US Navy. Entering the service on December 28, 1967 in Albany where he served his time as a member of the naval submarine service. He was honorably discharged as a Seaman on April 17, 1972.
He was a member of the American Legion Post # 31, Little Falls.
Mr. Null spent the majority of his working career as a carpenter and was last employed by the Herkimer County Highway Dept.
He is survived by his son Ryan Null and his companion Daisy Aluarte, Dolgeville, his daughter Alana Musson, USAF stationed in Germany, a brother Gordon (Rosemary) Provorse, Ilion, 4 sisters Robin (Gary) Horender, Little Falls, Debra (George) Brandt, Ilion, Sharon Snyder, Rochester, NY and Dona (Chris) Wyant, Georgia, his dear friend Lorraine Marocco, Little Falls, his birth mother Vivian Provorse, Ilion, 2 grandchildren Jacob Null and Andrew Brice Musson, his aunt and uncle Caryol and Frank Graham, Little Falls, uncle Charles Provorse, Little Falls and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial services will be held on Monday, March 22, 2010 at 11:00 am from the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls with Chaplin Ralph Horender, Little Falls officiating. Interment will take place in Church Street Cemetery, Little Falls later in the spring where military honors will be accorded.
Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the funeral home on Monday, March 22, 2010 from 10-11 am and to attend the services to follow.
