Obituary of Anna A. Bilek

ALBANY - Anna A. Bilek, 84 a longtime Little Falls resident formerly of 550 E. John St., (Rockton Plaza) and for the past 14 years a resident of the Albany area passed away, Friday, December 15, 2006 at the Teresian House, Albany. She was born on September 1, 1922 in Little Falls the daughter of the late George H. and Albine (Stallman) Baum, Sr. She was educated at Little Falls High School She was united in marriage to her husband of 40 years Charles Bilek on March 27, 1947 at the Christ Lutheran Church parsonage, Little Falls. Mr. Bilek predeceased her on July 1, 1987. Mrs. Bilek attended the Christ Lutheran Church, Little Falls. A loving mother and grandmother she is survived by 3 daughters Cathy Jasewicz and her husband Donald, Little Falls, Beth Diedrich and her husband Alan, Albany, and Leslie Mullen and her husband Jeff, Richmond, Vermont, 3 grandchildren Ricky Weaver, Russell Diedrich and Samuel Diedrich and several nieces and nephews.. She was predeceased by 3 brothers George H. Baum, Jr., who died on February 14, 1993, Emil P. Baum, who died on June 4, 2001 and Edgar J. Baum, who died on November 10, 2003. Memorial services will be held on Friday, December 22, 2006 at 1:30 pm at the Teresian House Chapel, 200 Washington Ave., Ext., Albany. Graveside services will be held in the spring at Mt. View Memorial Gardens, Town of Little Falls at a time and date to be announced. Arrangements are by the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls, NY. There are no calling hours. It is the wish of the family that contributions in memory of Mrs. Bilek be considered to the Teresian House Memorial Fund, 200 Washington Ave., Ext., Albany, NY 12203. Envelopes are also available at the funeral home for this purpose.
