Obituary of Anne W. Valuck
LITTLE FALLS - Anne W. Valuck, 84 of 803 E. Main Street, Little Falls passed away Friday, April 2, 2004 at Valley Health Services, Herkimer where she had been a resident since March 10, 2004.
She was born on February 14, 1920 In Little Falls the daughter of the late John and Katherine (Remias) Valuck. She was a graduate of Little Falls High School class of 1938 as well as a graduate of Methodist Hospital School of Nursing, class of 1941.
Miss. Valuck was a veteran of World War II serving with the Nursing Corps., of the US Navy Reserve from 1943 - 1946 when she was honorably discharged as a Lt. J.G..
She was a member of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Little Falls
Miss. Valuck was employed for many years as an Industrial Nurse for the Remington Arms, Co., Ilion.
She is survived by 2 nieces Nancy Young and her husband Bruce, Phillipsburg, NJ and Deborah Fitzgerald and her husband Dennis, Reston, VA, her brother in law Robert E. Graudons, Little Falls, her grandniece Katrina Yong and grand nephew Robert Young and several cousins. She was predeceased by her brother John G. Valuck, who died on December 1, 1992 and by her sister Olga V. Graudons, who died on August 9, 2003.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 7, 2004 at 10:00 am from the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls with the Rev. Carl Evans, Pastor of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Little Falls officiating. Interment will take place in Holy Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Little Falls later in the spring.
Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 6, 2004 from 6-8 pm and to attend the funeral services Wednesday morning.
It is the wish of the family that contributions in memory of Miss. Valuck be considered to the Holy trinity Lutheran Church, 512 E. Gansevoort St., Little Falls, NY 13365. Envelopes are also available at the funeral for this purpose.
