Obituary of Audrey J. Miller

OPPENHEIM Audrey J. Miller, 61 of 6783 State Highway 29, St. Johnsville (Town of Oppenheim) passed away unexpectedly Saturday, August 14, 2010 at her residence. She was born on April 19, 1949 in Little Falls the daughter of the late Albert George and Jennie V. (Memrick) Miller. She attended Oppenheim Ephratah Schools. Ms. Miller was employed at onetime by the Beech-Nut Co. and Richardsons Co., both of Canajoharie, as well as Campbell Plastics, Rotterdam. She was last employed in the assembly department of Kasson Keller Co., Fonda. For many years she and her companion Frank Zambrotto owned and operated the Trading Post General Store on State Route 29, Oppenheim. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and crafts and was especially fond of her flower gardening. She is survived by her son Jeffrey A. Miller and his companion Karen Rodriguez, Oppenheim, her daughter Elizabeth Petkovsek and her companion Wayne Lynch, St. Johnsville, her companion Dennis Tyler with whom she resided, 4 brothers Theodore B. (Kathleen) Miller, Dolgeville, David A. (Beth) Miller, Mohawk, Leo L. Miler and his fiancé© Sally Schultz, Dolgeville and Kenneth E. (Melanie) Miller, Mohawk, 2 sisters Betty Darrow, Mohawk and Susan Calhoun, Ft. Plain, 7 grandchildren Taylor A. Lynch, Lyndsey V. Lynch, James A. Miller, III, Aaron J. Miller, Karli V. Miller, Melissa Crapser and Morgan Empie, her uncle Charles Memrick, Mooresville, NC, several aunts, uncles, nieces,. nephews and cousins, her dear friends Cheryl Howe, Oppenheim ,Betty Harlow, Oppenheim and her dog "baby girl". She was predeceased by her companion of many years Frank Zambrotto in 2004, 4 brothers William Miller in 1957, James A.(Racetrack) Miller in 1986, Donald W. Miller in 1999 and Charles J.(Bud) Miller in 2006, her sister Rose MacRorie in 2010, her brothers in law Albert Darrow in 1999 and Rowland Calhoun in 2010 and her sister in law Gladys (Mitzi) Miller in 1986. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at 10:00 am the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls with Sister Marilyn Hayes, CSJ of the Holy Family Parish, Little Falls officiating. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 17, 2010 from 5-8 pm and to attend the funeral services Wednesday morning.
