Obituary of Beryl K. Folts

LITTLE FALLS Beryl K. Folts, 96 formerly of 63 Woodside Ave., Little Falls passed away Friday, September 30, 2011 in Bradenton, Florida where she has been residing for the past several years. She was born on June 4, 1915 in Blaina, South Wales the daughter of the late W. James and Eva (Newbury) Watkins, immigrating to this country and to Little Falls in 1923. She was a graduate of Little Falls High School class of 1934 and furthered her education at the Utica School of Commerce. She was united in marriage to her husband of 46 years George S. Folts on December 6, 1950 at the First Presbyterian Church, Little Falls. Mr. Folts predeceased her on June 25, 1996. Mrs. Folts was employed for 9 years by the Remington Arms Co., Ilion as the plant accountant. She was last employed as a contract administrator for the General Electric Co., Syracuse retiring in 1975 after 19 years of service. She was a member at one time of the former Little Falls Elks and enjoyed playing golf. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother James Gwyn Watkins in 1976 Graveside services will be held on Thursday, October 6, 2011 at 10:00 am at the Salisbury Rural Cemetery, Town of Salisbury with the Rev. Jon A. Noble, Pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, Little Falls officiating. Arrangements are by the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls. There are no calling hours. It is the wish of the family that contributions in memory of Mrs. Folts be considered to the First Presbyterian Church 16, Jackson St., Little Falls, NY 13365. Envelopes are also available at the funeral home for this purpose.
