Obituary of Betty J. Albrecht

LITTLE FALLS Betty J. Albrecht, 85 of 153 N. Gardinier Road, Little Falls and, more recently a resident of the Alpine Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Little Falls passed away Saturday, April 21, 2012. She was born on March 13, 1927 in Little Falls, the daughter of the late Newell and Lucille (Goodbred) Haberman. She was a graduate of Little Falls High School. She was united in marriage to her husband of 56 years, Edward T. Albrecht, on September 1, 1951 at St. Pauls Universalist Church, Little Falls. Mr. Albrecht predeceased her on July 1, 2007. Mrs. Albrecht was employed for over twenty years as a library clerk for Herkimer County Community College. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Joseph Alberico, Mohawk and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at 7:00 pm from the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 from 5-7 pm and to attend the funeral services to follow. Graveside services will be held Wednesday morning, April 25, 2012 at 9:30 am at Rural Park Cemetery, Inghams Mills. It is the wish of the family that contributions in memory of Mrs. Albrecht be considered to the Herkimer County Humane Society, PO Box 73, Mohawk, NY 13407. Envelopes are also available at the funeral home for this purpose.
