Obituary of Betty J. Ingraham
DOLGEVILLE - Betty J. Ingerham, 83 of 661 Military Road, Dolgeville passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at Little Falls Hospital where she had been a patient since July 9.
She was born on May 29, 1927 in Syracuse the daughter of the late Willard P. and Edna Mae (Campbell) Slocum. She was educated in Herkimer schools.
She was united in marriage to her beloved husband of 38 years Charles L. Ingerham on April 11, 1970 in Saranac Lake, NY. Mr. Ingerham predeceased her on November 21, 2009.
Mrs. Ingerham enjoyed crocheting blankets for numerous area childrens charities for many years.
She was employed as an Inspector for over 20 years by the former MDS Corp., Herkimer.
She is survived by her son David Davis and his companion Kim Zielinski, Salisbury, 3 daughters Donna Dineen, Dolgeville, Betty (George) Martin, Auburn, NY and Lois (Ernest) Miller, Cedarville, a special grandson Sean Small, Whitesboro and several other grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son Charles W. Davis in September of 1995.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls on Tuesday, July 20, 2010 from 5-7 pm. Interment will take place in Cedarville Cemetery, Cedarville, NY at the convenience of the family.
It is the wish of the family that contributions in memory of Mrs. Ingerham be considered to the Alzheimers Association, 441W. Kirkpatrick St., Syracuse, NY 13204. Envelopes are also available at the funeral home for this purpose.
