Obituary of Carl L. Boepple

LITTLE FALLS - Carl L. Boepple, 74 of 468 Newville Road, (Town of Danube), Little Falls passed away Monday, December 31, 2007 at his residence. He was born on May 9, 1933 in West Winfield the son of the late Lloyd Thomas and Mable (Worden) Boepple. He was a graduate of Mohawk High School. He was united in marriage to his wife of 56 years the former Jean Perri on October 4, 1951 at the United Methodist Church parsonage, Little Falls. Mr. Boepple was the owner operator of the family diary farm in Newville where he tended to his many cows and sheep. He was also employed at onetime by Remington Arms Co., Ilion, the former Library Bureau and MDS, both of Herkimer and the NYS Thruway. He was a member of the Newville Union Church, as well as a member of the Farm Bureau and the Artificial Breeders Service. A loving husband, father and grandfather, he was well known by his family and friends for his sense of humor and for being a prankster. He is also remembered for teaching his children the value of hard work. He is survived by his wife Jean, 4 sons Raymond Boepple and his wife Lisa, Little Falls, Thomas Boepple and his wife Sherrie, Middleville, Frank D. Boepple, Newville and Karl L. Boepple, Little Falls, 3 daughters Diane Cotton and her husband Bob, Little Falls, Cindy Hudson and her husband Robert Jr., Little Falls and Debra Becker and her husband Jeff, Canastota, 2 bothers Alton Boepple and his wife Joyce, Little Falls and Wayne Boepple and his wife Ann, Bellevue, Nebraska, 14 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his sister Beverly Harwick on January 30, 1997. Graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family at the Garlock Cemetery, Town of Danube in the spring. Arrangements are by the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls, NY. There are no calling hours. It is the wish of the family that contributions in memory of Mr. Boepple be considered to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 7, East Syracuse, NY 13057 or to Hospice Care, Inc., 4277 Middle Settlement Road, New Hartford, NY 13413. Envelopes are also available at the funeral home for this purpose.
