Obituary of Carolyn B. Daley

LITTLE FALLS- Carolyn B. Daley, 70 of 2280 State Route 169, Little Falls passed away on Sunday, August 12, 2012 at Alpine Rehabilitation and Nursing, Little Falls where she had been a resident since August 3, 2012. She was born on March 25, 1942 in Mohawk the daughter of the late Roy and Mary (Kanaley) Shwiler. She was a graduate of the Little Falls High School Class of 1960. She was united in marriage on July 9, 1960 to her husband of 52 years Robert L. Daley, Sr. at the St. Marys Church, Little Falls. Mrs. Daley was employed for several years by Great American Store, Ilion, Niesners Department Store, Little Falls and McCauleys Television Store, Little Falls. She was a member of the Holy Family Parish Church, Little Falls and a past member of Asterogen Chapter of DAR. Mrs. Daley took great enjoyment on going out to dinner with the girls on Friday nights. She most of all treasured her family and the time she spent with them. She taught her children strength, kindness, generosity, the value of family, but most of all to love each other. She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, friend and was very loved and truly be missed. She is survived by her husband Robert L. Daley, Sr., three sons Robert L. Daley, Jr. (Buster) and his companion Ann Grimshaw, Little Falls, George Daley, Little Falls, Michael Daley and his companion Deborah Tuttle, Valtie, NY., a daughter Robin Bacher, Herkimer and her former husband Michael Bacher, Little Falls, a sister Mary Mosher and her husband Rick, Little Falls, grandchildren Chief Machinery Technician Michael Bacher of the US Coast Guard and his wife Shauna, Stephanie Bacher, Mary Daley, Adon Rodriguez, Army Private First Class Leslie Daley currently serving in Afganastan, Kianna Daley, Damian LaFave, Cara Boepple and her husband Tony, Alecia Sohns great grandchildren Seth Bacher, Olivia Bacher, Alexia Judson, Adrianna Sohns, Susanna Rodriguez. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 16, 2012 at 11 am from the Holy Family Parish, Cor. Main & John Sts, Little Falls with the Rev. Thomas Lawless officiating. Interment will follow in Ostrander Cemetery, Town of Danube. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 North Ann Street, Little Falls on Wednesday, August 15, 2012 from 5-7 pm and to attend the funeral services Thursday morning. In lieu of flowers it is the wish of the family that contributions in memory of Mrs. Daley be considered to the Holy Family Parish Church,763 East Main Street, Little Falls, NY. 13365.
