Obituary of Carolyn Timmerman Sidenius
LITTLE FALLS - Carolyn Timmerman Sidenius, 95 of 760 E. Monroe Street, Ext., (Valley View Courts) Apt. # A-7, Little Falls passed away Monday, April 16, 2007.
She was born on March 13, 1912 in Snells Bush (Inghams Mills) the daughter of the late Clarence H. and Bertha (Rahm) Timmerman. She was a graduate of Little Falls High School class of 1930 as well as a graduate of Albany Business College.
She was united in marriage to her husband of 33 years Jes V. Sidenius on September 8, 1935 in Little Falls. Mr. Sidenius predeceased her on September 3, 1968.
Mrs. Sidenius was extremely fond of history and genealogy having researched and complied five genealogies for the Snell-Zimmerman-Timmerman Reunion which publishes and sells them. She was a former member of the National Society of the DAR.
She was employed at onetime many years ago as a secretary for the former Chris Hansen Laboratories, Little Falls.
She is survived by her son Karl C. Sidenius and his wife Jane, Wading River, NY and by 3 grandchildren Christopher Sidenius, Hong Kong, China, Erik Sidenius, Kansas City, MO and Jessica Sidenius Rowe and her husband Russell, Farmingville, NY. She was predeceased by a her brother Melvin Timmerman on November 2, 2002.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 18, 2007 at 3:00 pm from the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls. Interment will take place in Rural Park Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 18, 2007 from 1-3 pm and to attend the funeral services to follow.
