Obituary of Carrie Lynn Snowman

STRATFORD Carrie Lynn Snowman, 29 of 803 Piseco Road, Stratford passed away unexpectedly Sunday, September 28, 2008 at Nathan Littauer Hospital, Gloversville after being stricken at home. She was born on November 13, 1978 in Gloversville the "Little Angel" of Mark E. and Judith (Christman) Snowman.. She received her education at the Herkimer Co. BOCES, Herkimer Area Resource Center Carrie who was an inspiration to many was currently attending the Lexington Day Treatment Center, Oppenheim. She enjoyed listing to "books on tape" and music and especially sitting on the porch swing with her dad and attending church. She was a member of the Curtiss Corners Stone Chapel, Salisbury. She is survived by her parents Mark and Judith, Stratford, her maternal grandmother Reta Christman, Stratford, her paternal grandmother Leona Snowman, Medway, ME, 2 brothers David Eric Snowman, Fort Meyers, FL and Mark Earl Snowman, Rochester, a sister Christine Marie Snowman, Schenectady, 3 uncles David Christman and his wife Jan, Salisbury, David Snowman and his wife Sandy, Lewiston, ME and Carl Snowman, Delaware, 4 aunts Ruth Mitchell and her husband Phillip, Medway, ME, Jean Mead and her husband Tim, Colonial Heights, VA, Joyce Mancini and her husband Joe, Alpharetta, GA and Janice Sarvis and her husband Toby, Alpharetta, GA, a sister in law Roxane Cramer Snowman, Salisbury, 2 nephews Christopher Michael Cramer-Snowman and Brendan James Cramer-Snowman and a niece Laikyn Raine Cramer-Snowman all of Salisbury. She was predeceased by her brother J. Christopher Snowman on March 14, 2006, her maternal grandfather James Christman, her paternal grandfather Preston Snowman and by her uncle Paul Snowman. A celebration of Carries life will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2008 at 10:00 am at the Curtiss Corners Stone Chapel, 392 Curtiss Road, Salisbury with the Rev. Rodney Congdon, Pastor officiating. Interment will take place in Salisbury Rural Cemetery, Town of Salisbury. Arrangements are by the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls. There are no calling hours. It is the wish of the family that contributions in memory of Carrie be considered to the Lexington Day Treatment Center, 405 Co. Hwy. 114, St. Johnsville, NY 13452 or to the Curtiss Corners Stone Chapel, Curtiss Rd, Salisbury, NY 13454. Envelopes are also available at the funeral home for this purpose.
