Obituary of Charles L. Ingerham

DOLGEVILLE - Charles L. Ingerham, 73 of 661 Military Road, Dolgeville passed away Saturday, November 21, 2009 at Little Falls Hospital. He was born on October 22, 1936 in Herkimer the son of the late Albert and Rose (Tamburro) Ingerham. He was educated in the Frankfort and Herkimer Schools. He was united in marriage to his beloved wife of 38 years the former Betty Davis on April 11, 1970 in Lake Placid, NY. Mr. Ingerham was employed for 25 years as a Machine Operator for the former H.M. Quackenbush, Inc., Herkimer. He is survived by his wife Betty, son David Davis and his companion Kim Zielinski, Salisbury, 3 daughters Donna Dineen, Dolgeville, Betty Martin and her husband George, Elmira, Lois Miller and her husband Ernest, Cedarville, 5 brothers Thomas Ingraham, Frankfort, Donald Ingerham and his wife Dorothy, Herkimer, Patrick Ingerham and his companion Gail DeLucca, Little Falls, Anthony Ingerham and his wife Kathy, Herkimer, James Ingerham and his wife Susan, Mohawk, 2 sisters Nancy Krouse and Delores Smith both of Herkimer, a brother-in-law Woodrow Mason and a sister-in-law Betty Ingerham both of Herkimer and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by 3 sisters JoAnne Mason, Katherine Ingerham, Rose Lyga, 2 brothers William and John Ingerham and a son Charles W. Davis. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the funeral home on Friday, November 27, 2009 from 2-4 pm. Interment will take place in the Cedarville Cemetery at the convenience of the family. It is the wish of the family that contributions in memory of Mr. Ingerham be considered to the American Lung Association of New York State, 155 Washington Ave., Suite 210, Albany, NY., 12210. Envelopes are also available at the funeral home for this purpose. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to Thomas Ingraham, Jr. for the help, care and compassion that he shown his Uncle.
