Obituary of Cheryl A. (Klock) Brownell,

FORT PLAIN Cheryl A. (Klock) Brownell, 66 of 180 Mill Lane, Ft. Plain, passed away Saturday, July 2, 2011 at her residence. Cheryl was born on January 2, 1945 in Little Falls the daughter of the late Bert and Wealtha (Fish) Klock. She was educated in the Little Falls Schools. Mrs. Brownell was united in marriage to Albert J. Brownell on April 17, 1971 in Ephratah. She was of the Lutheran faith. Mrs. Brownell spent her whole life at home taking care of her 15 children and later enjoying her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her husband Albert, 4 sons Mike Douglas and wife Jody, Herkimer, Charles Brownell and companion June Briggs, Ft. Plain, Daniel Brownell, Sr. and his companion Stacy Brownell, Canajoharie, Bert Brownell and wife Karla, Ft. Plain, 2 daughters Sandra Douglas and her husband Michael Schmidt, Ft. Plain, Julie Putnam and her companion Eric Lyons, New Berlin, her other surviving children Albert J. Brownell Jr., Broadalbin, James Brownell and wife Cheryl, Fonda, John Brownell and wife Pauline, Ft. Plain, Tim Brownell and wife Lori, Johnstown, Cheryl Clemons and husband Tom, Mayfield, Judy Baker and her husband George, Amsterdam, Robin Snell and husband John, Melrose, Pamela Brownell, Edinburg along with 35 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Thomas R. Brownell, granddaughter Ashley Putnam and 2 brothers Charles J. Klock and Royce "Butch " S. Klock. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2011 at 12:00 p.m. from the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls with the Rev. Kenneth Dingman, Pastor officiating. Interment will follow in Freys Bush Cemetery, Town of Minden, NY. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the funeral home on Thursday, July 7, 2011 from 10-12 pm and to attend the funeral services follow.
