Obituary of Esther J. Danforth

Esther J. Danforth GLOVERSVILLE - Esther J. Danforth, 69 formerly of Gloversville and more recent of 18 Arthur Street, Little Falls passed away Friday, October 21, 2005 at Bassett Healthcare Center, Cooperstown. She was born on June 7, 1936 in Gloversville the daughter of the late Ernest and Dorothy (Rose) Baker. She was a graduate of Gloversville High School. She was united in marriage to her husband of 27 years Kenneth W. Danforth on April 1, 1978 in Mayfield. She was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church, Gloversville. Mrs. Danforth was employed for 25 years by the former Universal Distributing Co., Gloversville. She is survived by her husband Kenneth, Little Falls, 5 sons Thomas Quillan and his wife Florence, Gloversville, William Quillan and his fiancé© Sherie Johnson, Little Falls, John Quillan and his wife Lisa, Pennsylvania, Kenneth J. Danforth, Scotia and Kenneth J. Danforth, Gloversville, 3 daughters Susan Quillan, Arkansas, Clara Carey, Johnstown and Thelma Matthews and her husband Charles, III, West Leyden, a brother Norman Baker and his wife Esther, Waltham, MA, a sister Mary Alice Mercier and her husband Vaughn, Madison, ME, 15 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In keeping with Mrs. Danforth's wishes funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls.
