Obituary of Douglas F. James

MARCY Douglas F. James, 69 of Stage Road, Utica passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at his residence. He was born on October 11, 1943 in Little Falls the son of the late Douglas O. and Elizabeth (Kudela) James. He was a graduate of Little Falls High School, Hartwick College and Utica College. He was an active member of the Cross Point Church, Whitesboro where he volunteered for various church projects. Mr. James was employed for many years as a computer programmer and analyst for the Prevelare Life Sciences Co., Whitesboro. An avid Boston Red Socks fan, he also enjoyed attending his grandsons many sporting events. He is survived by his daughter Trista Richardson and her husband Chad, Boonville, his 3 cherished grandsons Devin, Jacob and William Richardson and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Judith Scheid in October of 2008. Graveside services will be held in the spring at Holy Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Little Falls at a time and date to be announced. Arrangements are by the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls. It is the wish of the family that contributions in memory of Mr. James be considered to the Cross Point Church, 317 Oriskany Blvd., Whitesboro, NY 13492. Envelopes are also available at the funeral home for this purpose.
