Obituary of Hazel M. Eaker

Hazel M. Eaker LITTLE FALLS - Hazel M. Eaker, 95 formerly of 1126 Snells Bush Rd, Little Falls and since 2002 a resident of Valley Health Services, Herkimer passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2005 at Little Falls Hospital. She was born on November 17, 1910 in Stratford the daughter of the late William and Minnie (Durrin) Satterlee. She was educated in Fairfield Rural Schools. She was married at onetime to Glenn Holdridge. On September 2, 1948 she was united in marriage to Arthur W. Eaker in Hudson Falls, NY. Mr. Eaker predeceased her on March 12, 2001. She was a member of the Inghams Mills Baptist Church. Mrs. Eaker along with her husband operated the family dairy farm in Inghams Mills for many years. She also work as a domestic in various homes in the area. She is survived by 2 sons Donald E. Holdridge, Inghams Mills and Daniel E. Holdridge and his wife Beverly, Little Falls, a daughter Lorraine E. Jackson, Inghams Mills, 2 brothers Leland Satterlee, Newport and Clifford Satterlee and his wife Mary, Gray, 2 sisters Helen Scanlon , Dolgeville and Ellen Looman, Newport, 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son Robert W. Holdridge, who died on June 22, 1957 and by 2 brothers William Satterlee, Jr. and Lloyd Satterlee. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 31, 2005 at 11:00 am from the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls with Pastor Gertrude Ortlieb of the Inghams Mills Baptist Church officiating. Interment will take place in Rural Park Cemetery, Inghams Mills in the spring. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the funeral home on Saturday, December 31, 2005 from 9-11 am and to attend the funeral services to follow.
