Obituary of Edna K. Warner
INDIAN CASTLE - Edna K. Warner, 102 of State Route 5S, Little Falls passed away Wednesday, December 1, 2004 at the Van Allen Nursing Home, Little Falls where she had been a rehab patient for the past 3 weeks.
She was born on October 10, 1902 in the Town of Manheim the daughter of the late Paul and Lula (Kyser) Koch. She was a graduate of Dolgeville High School Class of 1921.
She was united in marriage to Raymond Warner on April 12, 1923 in Utica. Mr. Warner predeceased her on July 5, 1971.
She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge and served as a lady militant of that lodge.
Mrs. Warner was employed at onetime as a machine operator for the former Little Falls Felt Shoe Co., retiring in 1968.
She is survived by 3 sons Walter Warner and his wife Jean, Paul Warner and his wife Nora and Allen Warner and his wife Eileen all of Little Falls, a daughter Kathleen Windecker and her husband Russell, Little Falls, 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son Robert Warner who died on October 7, 1930, a daughter Elsie Casler, who died on January 30, 1998, a sister Elma Koch, who died in 1908 and a brother Walter Koch, who died on September 17, 1999.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2004 at 10:00 am from the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls with the Rev. Christopher Wintermute, Asst. Pastor of the First Baptist Church, Little Falls officiating. Interment will take place in Mt. View Memorial Gardens, Town of Little Falls.
Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the funeral home on Friday, December 3, 2004 from 5-8 pm and to attend the funeral services Saturday morning.
In lieu of flowers it is the wish of the family that contributions in memory of Mrs. Warner be considered to the Indian Castle Church Restoration Fund, c/o Mrs. Linda Weldon, P.O. Box 172, Little Falls, NY 13365. Envelopes are also available at the funeral home for this purpose.
