Obituary of Elizabeth (Betty) A. Herringshaw

MOHAWK Elizabeth (Betty) A. Herringshaw, 93 of 74 W. Main St., Mohawk passed away Saturday, March 16, 2013 at Valley Health Services, Herkimer where she had been a resident since January of this year. She was born on June 5, 1919 in Little Falls the daughter of the late Glenn and Myrtle (Van Evera) Rickard. She was a graduate of Little Falls High School class of 1937. She was united in marriage to her husband of 49 years Arthur Herringshaw on September 16, 1950 in Adams, MA. Mr. Herringshaw predeceased her on April 5, 1999. Mrs. Herringshaw was employed at one time for the former Melrose Shoe Co., Little Falls. She last employed as a wheel lacer for the former H.P. Snyder Mfg., Co., Little Falls retiring in 1976. She is survived by her stepson Bernard Herringshaw (Joann), New York and step daughter Arlene Randall (Richard) N. Carolina, many grandchildren, great and great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters Vera Miner and Vivian Smith, and brothers Gordon and Olin Rickard. Graveside services will be held at Salisbury Rural Cemetery, Town of Salisbury at a time and date to be announced later in the spring. Arrangements are by the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls. There are no calling hours.
