Obituary of Elsa Reith O'Brien

Elsa Reith O'Brien LITTLE FALLS - Elsa Reith O'Brien, 86 of 634 E. Gansevoort Street, Little Falls and more recent of the Residential Healthcare Facility at Little Falls Hospital passed away Monday, October 6, 2003 at that residence. She was born on September 15, 1917 in Rome, NY the daughter of the late Werner and Elsa (Engel) Reith. She was a graduate of Madison High School, class of 1934 and the University of Rochester, Class of 1938. She was united in marriage to Richard J. O'Brien on May 15, 1946 at the United Methodist Church Parsonage, Little Falls. Mr. O'Brien predeceased her on October 26, 1981. She is survived her daughter Dorothy Smith of Greensboro, NC, 5 grandchildren and several great grandchildren, and her dear friend and companion Edward J. Schaefer, Ann Arbor, MI. Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family from the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls. Interment will take place in Dolgeville Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
