Obituary of Eunice E. Rowe

SALISBURY CORNERS - Eunice E. Rowe, 86 a long time resident of 910 Military Rd., Salisbury Corners and more recent of 53 S. Main St., (Parkside Courts), Dolgeville passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2003 at St. Luke's Memorial Hospital, New Hartford. She was born on September 20, 1917 in Hinckley, NY the daughter of the late Eli and Grace (Howard) Lincourt. She was educated in Schuyler Lake and Richfield Springs Schools. She was united in marriage to her husband of 53 years John H. Rowe on February 9, 1936 in Dolgeville. Mr. Rowe predeceased her on June 11, 1989. She was a member of St. Michael's Episcopal Church, Middleville as well as a member of the Oppenheim Senior Citizens. Mrs. Rowe was employed as an assembler for the former MDS Corp., E. Herkimer, retiring in 1982. She is survived by 2 sons Donald H. Rowe and his wife Ruth, Fairfield and John K. Rowe, St. Johnsville, 2 daughters Genevieve Willsey, Saratoga and Audrey Newman, S. Daytona, FL, many grandchildren and great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 2 brother Eli and Stanley Lincourt, 3 sisters Viola Metz, Winifred Ottman and Agnes Huckabone and a grandson Peter M. Rowe, who died on September 8, 1990. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 14, 2003 at 10:00 am from the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls with the Deacon Vicar Joseph Famulare of St. Michael's Episcopal Church officiating. Interment will take at the convenience of family. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the funeral home on Friday, November 14, 2003 from 9-10 am and to attend the funeral services to follow.
