Obituary of Eunice F. (Davis) Robinson

RICHFIELD SPRINGS Eunice F. (Davis) Robinson, 81 of 666 State Route 28, Richfield Springs and formerly of Little Falls passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at her residence. She was born on January 31, 1928 in Amsterdam the daughter of the late Charles and Florence (McKinney) Sitterly. She was educated in Canajoharie and Newport Schools. She was united in marriage to her husband of 49 years Willard J. Davis on February 16, 1946 in Middleville. Mr. Davis predeceased her on May 9, 1995. On June 21, 2003 she was again united in marriage to George G. Robinson at the grooms home in Richfield Springs. Mrs. Robinson along with her first husband Willard owned and operated the Davis Dairy Farm in the Town of Danube for many years until they sold the farm in 1978. She enjoyed dancing, playing cards and spending time with her family. She is survived by her devoted and loving husband George, her 5 sons Willard (Doc) Davis and his wife Jane, Palatine, Denny Davis, Oppenheim, George Walrath and his wife Lena, South America, Eugene Davis, Little Falls and Flint Davis and his wife Caryn, Little Falls, her 4 daughters Eunie Davis, Johnstown, Susie Dalton, Radford, VA, Diane Godlewski and her husband Edward, Herkimer and Sandy ODell and her husband Gary, Schuyler, several grandchildren, many great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter Renee Finn on December 31, 2003, her granddaughter Jodi Marie Connor on November 10, 2003 and by 2 brothers Carlton and Alton Joyce, and a sister Esther Aldrich. Relatives and friends are invited to attend graveside services to be held on Friday, December 4, 2009 at 12:00 pm at the Twilight Rest Cemetery, Monticello Road, Town of Richfield with the Rev. R. W. Williams, Northville officiating. Arrangements are by the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls. There are no calling hours
