Obituary of F. David Davy, Jr

LITTLE FALLS - F. David Davy, Jr., 75 of 668 Bellinger Road, Little Falls passed away Friday, May 14, 2004 at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center, Utica. He was born on September 22, 1928 in the Town of Danube the son of the late Frank D. and Lura (Rising) Davy, Sr. He was a graduate of Little Falls High School and was of the Christian faith. Mr. Davy was a life long dairy farmer operating the Valeside Dairy Farm in the Town of Danube. He is survived by 2 sisters Margaret Marcy and her husband Lyndon, Boonville and Marion Dague, St. Albans, VT, his brother in law Andrew Little, Little Falls with whom he recently resided, 6 nephews Eric Dague, Swanton, VT, Mark Cagwin, New Hartford, Gary Cagwin, Boonville, Dane Cagwin, Rome, Andrew Little, Dolgeville and David Little, Nickleson, PA, 4 nieces Heather Andrade, Deighton, MA, Melody Richardson, Portland, ME, Wendy Vella, Westernville, NY and Erica DeBellis, St. Albans, VT and many grand nieces and nephews, and a special friend Paul Tarbox, Little Falls. He was predeceased by his sister Esther D. Little, Who died on February 7, 1998. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 18, 2004 at 11:00 am from the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls. Interment will take place in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Fords Bush Road, Town of Minden. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 18, 2004 from 10-11 am and to attend the funeral services to follow. In lieu of flowers it is the wish of the family that contributions in memory of Mr. Davy be considered to a local Christian church of your choice. Envelopes are available at the funeral home for this purpose.
