Obituary of Frank J. Gorinshek

Frank J. Gorinshek SALISBURY - Frank J. Gorinshek, 67 of 270 Ives Road, Little Falls passed away Friday, December 26, 2003 at Little Falls Hospital. He was born on January 20, 1936 in the Town of Manheim the son of the late William M. and Mary V. (Petkovsek) Gorinshek, Sr. He was educated in West Canada Valley Schools. Mr. Gorinshek was a veteran of the US Army. Entering the service on July 12, 1955. Serving with the 587th Engineering Co. He was honorably discharged on June 30, 1963. He was of the Catholic faith. He was a life member of the Dolgeville Rod & Gun Club, a life member of the Salisbury Ridge Runners Club, and a member of the Creekside Club. Mr. Gorinshek was employed at onetime as the manager of the Manzur Farms, Boonville. He was later employed as an equipment operator for the Ulster Paving Co. Clockville, retiring in 1998. He is survived by 3 sons Frank Gorinshek and his wife Cheryl, Newport, Joseph Gorinshek and Kimberly Lincourt, Little Falls and William Gorinshek and Judy Leavitt, Salisbury Center, a daughter Teresa Gorinshek, Salisbury, 2 brothers John Gorinshek and his wife Ada, Fairfield and Michael Gorinshek, Newport, 4 sisters Anne Cromer and her husband Roger, Dolgeville, Mary Lowell and her husband Charles, Mohawk, Frances Gorinshek, Dolgeville and Jenny Armstrong and her husband Richard, Tempe, AZ, 9 grandchildren Seth Lincourt, Kristen Lincourt, Joshua Rachon, Courtney Rachon, Jacob Gorinshek, Devin Gorinshek, Gabriella Kluge, Brianna Lincourt and Abigail Gorinshek and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter Melissa M. Gorinshek, who died on March 20, 1999, a brother William M. Gorinshek, Jr., who died on September 5, 1985 and his wife Diane (Clary) Gorinshek, who died on January 18, 1996. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 31, 2003 at 10:00 am from the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls with the Rev. Thomas Vail of the Holy Family Parish, Little Falls officiating. Interment will take place in St. Mary's Cemetery, Town of Herkimer. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 30, 2003 from 5-8 pm and to attend the funeral services Wednesday morning. It is the wish of the family that contributions in memory of Mr. Gorinshek be considered to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 3049 Syracuse, NY 13220.
