Obituary of Gene R. Walrath

SALISBURY - Gene R. Walrath, 30 of 2105 State Route 29, Dolgeville passed away Sunday, June 20, 2004 at his residence. He was born on June 23, 1973 in Little Falls the son of Linda J. (Williams) Walrath and the late Jean R. Walrath. He was educated in Dolgeville Central Schools. Mr. Walrath was employed for several years by the former Daniel Green Co., Dolgeville, he later was employed with his brother Dean as a drywall contractor. He was last employed by the Sentinel Co., St. Johnsville. He is survived by his mother Linda J. Walrath, Salisbury, 2 brothers Everett H. Walrath, Salisbury and Dean A. Walrath and his wife Kathie, Dolgeville, his sister Jill Tyoe and her husband John, Oppenheim, 4 nephews. Zachary, Kristopher, Cory and Kyle Walrath, 4 nieces Nicole and Andrea Walrath and Samantha and Andrea Tyoe. He was predeceased by his father Jean R. Walrath, who died on August 28, 1995 and by a brother Daniel Walrath, who died on April 3, 1990. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 24, 2004 at 10:00 am from the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls. Interment will take place in Curtis Cemetery, Town of Salisbury. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 23, 2004 from 5-7 pm and to attend the funeral services Thursday morning.
