Obituary of Gerald L. Humphrey, Sr

Little Falls- Gerald L. Humphrey, Sr., 59 of 8 King Street, Little Falls passed away on February 14, 2007 unexpectedly at his residence. He was born on May 5, 1947 in Little Falls the son of the late Howard C. and Hazel E. (Deuel) Humphrey. He was educated in the Little Falls Schools. He was united in the marriage to the former Joyce I. Hogan on October 4, 1969 in Little Falls with the Rev. Frederick Thorne. Mr. Humphrey was employed as a Custodian at the Indian Castle Travel Plaza in Little Falls. He is survived by his wife of 38 years Joyce I. Humphrey, a daughter Melissa Anne Reynolds and her fiancé© Shawn Tyler, St. Johnsville, a son Gerald L. Humphrey, Jr. and his wife Debbie, Ilion, 3 sisters Roberta Lasher, Little Falls, Ruth Humphrey, St. Johnsville, Shirley Petkovsek, Little Falls, a brother Joseph C. Humphrey, Mohawk, 3 Grandchildren Domonique Humphrey, Victoria and Erica Reynolds and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his 2 special feline companions Mittens and Pearl. He was predeceased by a grandson Tyler Gerald Humphrey. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2007 at 12 pm from the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls with the Rev. Wrighton Tongue, Pastor of the First United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in Rural Park Cemetery, Inghams Mills in the spring. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the funeral home on Saturday, February 17, 2007 from 10-12 am and to attend the funeral services that follow.
