Lorraine P. Gressler LITTLE FALLS - Lorraine P. Gressler, 55 of 448 Ritter Road, Little Falls passed away Thursday, March 27, 2003 at Little Falls Hospital where she had been a patient since March 27, 2003. She was born on May 7, 1947 in Little Falls the daughter of the late Frederick J. and Helen J. (Mosher) Herringshaw. She was educated in Little Falls High School. She was united in marriage to Robert W. Gressler, Sr. on February 14, 1990 in Little Falls. Mr. Gressler predeceased her on May 26, 2000. She was of the Protestant faith. She was a member of the S/Sgt. Steve Stefula Post # 4612, V.F.W., Ladies Auxiliary, Little Falls and the American Legion Post # 31, Ladies Auxiliary, Little Falls. Mrs. Gressler was a licensed beautician since 1965 she worked for various beauty shops throughout the area and was the owner and operator of Lorraine's Unisex Salon, Little Falls for several years. She is survived by 2 sons Chad M. Malanoski and his wife Lori, Frankfort and Eric Malanoski, Oneonta, 4 step sons Robert W. Gressler, Jr., Texas, Richard G. Gressler and Jessica, Little Falls, Edward Sklarz and his wife Patty, Little Falls and John Sklarz and his wife Michele, Utica, 2 step daughters Mary Jo Kersey and her husband Michael, Texas and Sandra Sklarz, Little Falls, 2 brothers Irving Herringshaw and his wife Linda, Keesville, NY and Kevin Herringshaw and his wife Lori, Little Falls, a sister Beverly Christman and her husband Calvin, Palatine Bridge, her mother in law Dorothy Schwiler, Little Falls and her sister Helen Eaker, Dolgeville, 14 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her step son Thomas R. Gressler, who died on August 19, 1989. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2003 at 6:00 pm from the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street,, Little Falls. Interment will take place in Rural Park Cemetery, Inghams Mills later in the spring. There are no calling hours. It is the wish of the family that contributions in memory of Mrs. Gressler be considered to the St. Johnsville Vol. Ambulance Corps, 14 Washington St., St. Johnsville, NY 13452. Envelopes are also available at the funeral home for this purpose.
