Obituary of A. Helen (Gorinshek) Dineen
LITTLE FALLS - A. Helen (Gorinshek) Dineen, 89 formerly of 625 North Creek Road, Little Falls passed away Sunday, July 5, 2009 at the Mt. City Care and Rehabilitation Center, Mt. City, TN.
She was born in the Town of Manheim the daughter of the late Frank and Frances (Podboy) Petkovsek. She was educated in Manheim Rural and St. Marys Academy.
She was united in marriage to Matthew E. Gorinshek Sr. on January 2, 1937. He predeceased her on October 2, 1939. On July 21, 1945 she was re united in marriage to John E. Dineen, Sr. at St. Marys Church, Little Falls. Mr. Dineen predeceased her on July 23, 1984.
Mr. and Mrs. Dineen resided in El Cajon, Calif. for several years. Mrs. Dineen returned to Little Falls after her husbands passing in 1984. For the past 2 years she has resided in with her daughter Anne Kyte in Butler, TN
She was a member of the Holy Family Parish Church, Little Falls.
Mrs. Dineen was a seamstress and crafter, who for many years operated her own craft business "Jedausons" from her home in Little Falls.
She is survived by 3 sons Matthew E. Gorinshek, Jr. and his wife Beverly, Little Falls, John E. Dineen, Jr. and his wife Mary Ann, Little Falls and Ralph F. Dineen and his wife Linda, Little Falls with whom she resided fro several years prior to relocating to Tennessee and her daughter Anne Kyte, Butler, TN, 18 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 4 brothers Frank, John, Arthur and Anthony Petkovsek, 4 sisters Mary Gorinshek, Dorothy Jaquays, Sophie Madison and Frances Sterusky, a grandson Matthew E. Gorinshek, IV. and by a step daughter Mary Wolfey.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend graveside memorial services to be held on Monday, July 20, 2009 at 1:30 pm at St. Marys Cemetery, Town of Herkimer with the Rev. Anthony Ligato officiating.
Arrangements are by the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls. There are no calling hours.
