Obituary of Helena Drab

AMSTERDAM - Helena Drab,82, passed away after a long battle with Alzheimers on August 5, 2012 at the Wilkinson Facility in Amsterdam, NY. She was born on January 9, 1930, the daughter of the late Charles and Marguerite (Garrison) Pueschel. Helena is survived by her son John D. Conkling of Rossi, NY; her daughter, Donna Rowley and her husband Barry of Ilion, NY; her daughter Mary Drab of Amsterdam, NY; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Helena is also survived by her sisters Evelyn MacDonald; Allie Bevington and her husband John; Ella Lassell and her husband William; Agnes Pueschel, Virginia Loren, and MaryEllen Surace and her husband Sam; and her brother Charles Pueschel. Helena was predeceased by her daughter Cindy Conkling, husband, George Drab, and her sisters Alice Rotondi, Marjorie Hazzard, and Patricia Barnes. Graveside service of remembrance will be held at Rural Park Cemetery, Inghams Mills on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at 1:00 pm. Family and friends are welcome to attend.
