Obituary of Irene A. Sherman

LITTLE FALLS - Irene A. Sherman, 72 of 609 E. Monroe Street, Little Falls passed away Wednesday, October 27, 2004 at Little Falls Hospital. She was born on February 13, 1932 in Rochester, NY the daughter of the late James and Agnes (Wozniak) Skierkiewicz. She was educated in Rochester schools. She was united in marriage to her husband of 35 years Daulton A. Sherman on June 18, 1969 in Ft. Meyers, FL. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Little Falls as well as a member and past president of the former Little Falls Lady Elks. Mrs. Sherman was employed for many years by the former Daniel Green Co., Dolgeville. She is survived by her husband Daulton, Little Falls her mother in law Helen Sherman, Herkimer, her son Raymond T. Glende and his wife Dodie, Spencerport, NY, her daughter Elaine Notargiacomo and her husband Richard, Penfield, NY, 2 step sons John Sherman and his wife Sue, Aurora, CO and William Sherman and his wife Kozue, Rochester, NY, 2 step daughters Cherie Glosser and her husband Gary, Rochester, NY and Linda Quackenbush and her husband Robert, Albion, NY, 13 grandchildren Mark and Susan Notargiacomo, Jake Glende, Troy Capone, Christina and Drew Glosser, Kaitlin and Ashley Sherman, Candice, Heather, Jenny and Morgan Quackenbush, and Crystal Ann Sherman and a great grandson Tyler Weston. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, November 27, 2004 at 11:00 am from the First Presbyterian Church, Jackson Street, Little Falls with the Rev. Jon A. Noble, Pastor officiating. Arrangements are by the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls. There are no calling hours. It is the wish of the family that contributions in memory of Mrs. Sherman be considered to the First Presbyterian Church, 16 Jackson Street, Little Falls, NY 13365. Envelopes are also available at the funeral home for this purpose.
