Obituary of Janet M. Sullivan

LITTLE FALLS- Janet M. Sullivan, 75 of 186 State Route 170, Little Falls passed away Friday, February 15, 2013 at Alpine Rehabilitation and Nursing where she has been a resident since January 10, 2013. She was born on September 10, 1937 in Little Falls the daughter of the late Charles M. and Lela (Mosher) Steele, Jr. Mrs. Sullivan was a graduate of the Little Falls High School class of 1955. Mrs. Sullivan was united in marriage to her husband of 21 years John T. (Jack) Sullivan on September 22, 1962 at St. Marys Church, Little Falls with the Rev. Joseph Reger. Mr. Sullivan predeceased her on July 22, 1983. She was a member of the Holy Family Parish Church, Little Falls and American Legion Post 31. She enjoyed her ceramics and crocheting and cherished the time she had taking care of others as a home health aid. She had a special love for animals. Janet was employed at one time by Niagara Mohawk as a secretary, drove school bus for many years for the City of Little Falls and Rich Carney, Little Falls, Valley Home Furnishings and JC Penney. Her last employment was taking care of many individuals as a Home Health Aid. She is survived by her 2 sons John C. Sullivan and his fiancé© Ann Pedrick, Little Falls, Kevin Sullivan and his wife Veronica, Little Falls, 4 grand children Jason Sullivan and his wife Nora, Jonathon Sullivan and his fiancé© Elizabeth Arcuri, CJ Pedrick, Jennifer Pedrick, 3 great grand children Isabella and Lilyan Sullivan, Kadyn Pedrick and a very dear and beloved friend Jeanette DiPietro and several cousins. She was predeceased by 2 sisters Betty J. Steele and Wanetta C. Singer. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at 11:00 am from the Holy Family Parish Church, Cor. Main & John Sts, Little Falls where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Thomas Lawless. Interment will take place in St. Marys Cemetery, Town of Herkimer. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 North Ann Street, Little Falls on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 from 5-8 pm and to attend the funeral services Wednesday morning.
