Obituary of William A. Bladek, Jr

DANUBE – William A. Bladek, Jr, 78 of 192 Newville Road, Little Falls (Town of Danube) passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 15, 2013. He was born on November 23, 1935 the son of the late William A. and Edith (Wilson) Bladek, Sr. He attended Danube Rural School and was a graduate of Little Falls High School. He was also received an AS Degree in Auto Mechanics from Morrisville State College. Mr. Bladek was united in marriage to the former Frieda M. Nabinger on July 23, 1954. She predeceased him on December 31, 1991. He was reunited in marriage to the former Lany (Boepple) Wilson on August 20, 1993 at the Newville Union Church. He enjoyed snowmobiling and motorcycle riding, photography and video productions. He looked forward to having his morning coffee with his brother in law Burt Boepple, spending time with his grandchildren and reading western novels. In his younger years he enjoyed fur trapping and hunting with his many friends. Since 1966, Mr. Bladek has been the owner and operator and still partner along with his son Karl of Bladek’s Body Shop in Newville, he was employed prior by former Cagwin’s Auto Body Shop, Newville and the former Slabe’s Auto Sales & Service, Little Falls. He is survived by his wife Lany, sons William A. Bladek, III and his wife Susan, Little Falls and Karl J. Bladek and his love Joanne Reynolds, Newville, daughters Lynn F. Bladek and her partner Amanda Wallis, Boonville and Jacki S. Bladek, Syracuse, step sons Peter B. Wilson and his wife Candi, Palatine Bridge and Michael H. Wilson, Newville, his brother Roger A. Bladek and his wife Beverly, Newville, his sister Barbara Malone and her husband Thomas, Greensburg, PA, grandchildren Thomas, Angie, Lisa, William, Mallory, Jaden, Rhonda, Crystal, Isaac, Karli, Karl, Kristin, Jennifer, Jessica, Joshua, Kyle, Michael, Jackie and Brad, many great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a granddaughter Kelly J. Bladek, on September 1, 1993 and by a grandson Jeremiah Wilson on May 22, 1999 and a great grandson Giovanni Caracane. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2013 at 6:00 pm from the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls, NY with the Pastor Wayne Clemens of the Center Point Christian Fellowship Church, Barneveld officiating. Interment will take place in the Garlock Cemetery, Town of Danube in the spring. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the funeral home on Thursday, December 19, 2013 from 3-6 pm and to attend the funeral services to follow.
