Obituary of Marvin W. Johnson
SALISBURY - Marvin W. Johnson, 81 formerly of State Route 170A, Little Falls (Town of Salisbury) passed away Thursday, June 22, 2006 at Valley Health Services, Herkimer where he had been a resident since July 13, 2005.
He was born on December 27, 1924 in the town of Salisbury the son of the late Crit and Ruby (Lyon) Johnson. He was educated in Salisbury Rural Schools.
He was united in marriage to his wife of 39 years the former Lillian N. Stallman on November 8, 1947 at the Christ Lutheran Church, Little Falls. Mrs. Johnson predeceased him on January 30, 1986.
Mr. Johnson was the owner and operator of the family dairy farm in the town of Salisbury. Retiring from farming several years ago.
He is survived by his 2 sons David Johnson and his wife Vanessa and Dennis Johnson and Debra Davis, all of Salisbury, 3 grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother Noble P. Johnson, who died in November 5, 1992.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, June 26, 2006 at 10:00 am at the Rural Park Cemetery, Inghams Mills with the Rev. James Paulson, Pastor of the Christ Lutheran Church, Little Falls officiating.
Arrangements are by the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls. There are no calling hours
