Obituary of Joseph M. (Bubba) Stack, Jr

SALISBURY Joseph M. (Bubba) Stack, Jr., 23 passed away unexpectedly after a brief illness Monday, October 24, 2011 at Albany Medical Center with his loving family at his side. He was born on November 21, 1987 in Little Falls the son of Joseph M. Stack, Sr. and Barbara (Franklin) Bulger. He was a life long resident of Salisbury/Dolgeville area, but was currently residing in Nelliston. He was a graduate of Dolgeville High School Class of 2005, as well as a graduate of Fulton Montgomery Community College Class of 2007 where he received a A.S. degree in building construction. An avid hunter and outdoorsman he enjoyed fishing, snowmobile riding and spending his spare time with his family and friends. He was a member of the Salisbury Ridge Runners Snowmobile Club and the Dolgeville Rod & Gun Club. Joe was presently employed by the FAGE Co., Johnstown and was previously employed for several years by Taylor Made Windows, Johnstown. He is survived by his father and stepmother Joseph M. Stack Sr. and Tammy Randall, Dolgeville, his mother and stepfather Barbara and Michael Bulger, Salisbury, his brother Matthew Stack, Dolgeville, his sister Rebecca Stack, Salisbury, stepsister Samantha Hoke, Dolgeville, his girlfriend of 4 years Emily Douglas, Nelliston, his paternal grandfather Edward Stack Sr. and his wife Cindy, Florida and paternal grandmother Betty Leonard, Salisbury, his great grandmothers Florence Smith, Newport and Marion Franklin, Poland, his girlfriend Emilys parents Sheri and Jerry Orvis, Nelliston, several aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear and close friends. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents Robert Franklin and Kenneth and Eileen Powers. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 28, 2011 at 10:00 am from the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls with the Rev. Roger Waldron, Pastor of the Salisbury United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will take place in Salisbury Rural Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the funeral home on Thursday, October 27, 2011 from 5-8 pm and to attend the funeral services Friday morning. It is the wish of the family that contributions in memory of Joe be considered to the Joseph M Stack Jr. Memorial Fund, c/o 2005 State Route 29, Little Falls, NY 13365. Envelopes are also available at the funeral home for this purpose.
