Obituary of Kenneth P. Senft

GERMANSVILLE, PA Kenneth P. Senft, 74 of Germansville, PA passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2009 at his residence with his family at his side. He was born on November 15, 1934 in Indian Castle, NY the son of the late William and Sophie (Becker) Senft. He was a graduate of East New York Vocational High School, Brooklyn, NY Class of 1953. He was united in marriage to his wife of 44 years the form Alma L. Kramer on October 31, 1964 in Richmond Hill, NY. He was a veteran of the US Army serving from 1958 to 1964. Mr. Senft was employed for 35 years in the Brewery industry having been employed at onetime by the Trommers, Schlitz, Rhinegold, Schaefer and Stroh Breweries retiring in 1997. He was a member of the Lehigh Valley Yankee Fan Club, Lehigh Valley Snowmobile Assn., and the Germansville and Fogelsville Fire Companies. He is survived by his wife Alma, his son Stephen Senft, Germansville, PA, his daughter Carol A. Baer and her companion Donald Gogel, Germansville, PA, 2 grandsons Charles German and Nicholas Baer, his Aunt Betty Senft, Little Falls and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 10, 2009 at 11:00 am from the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls with the Rev. Ingrid Johnson officiating. Interment will take place in Indian Castle Cemetery, Town of Danube, NY. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the funeral home on Monday, August 10, 2009 from 10 11 am and to attend the funeral services to follow. It is the wish of the family that contributions in memory of Mr. Senft be considered to the Yankee Fan Club, PO Box 52, Fogelsville, PA 18051. Envelopes are also available at the funeral home for this purpose.
