Obituary of Dorothy C. Kuzmak
LITTLE FALLS - Dorothy C. Kuzmak, 85 formerly of 70 Hancock Street, Little Falls passed away Monday, June 12, 2006 at the home of her son Peter in Baltimore, MD.
She was born on November 28, 1920 in Little Falls at 70 Hancock Street the daughter of the late Frank and Rose (Logar) Peckay. She was a graduate of Little Falls High School Class of 1940.
She was united in marriage to Dr. Peter L. Kuzmak, DDS on June 15, 1946 at St. Mary's Church, Little Falls. Dr. Kuzmak predeceased her on September 25, 1984.
She is a member of the Holy Family Parish of Little Falls.
During World War II Mrs. Kuzmak was employed as a welder by the former Cherry-Burrell Corp., Little Falls and later on during the war effort by the Remington Arms, Co., Ilion.
She is survived by son Peter M. Kuzmak and his wife Patricia, Baltimore, MD, her daughter Barbara R. Kuzmak and her husband Larry VanLieshout, Wilmington, Ohio, 8 grandchildren Sarah, Stephen, Judith, Joseph, Zachary and Emilee Kuzmak, Virginia Kuzmak-VanLieshout and Michael Kuzmak-VanLieshout and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Robert F. Peckay, KIA, World War II and by her sister Rose M. Phillips, who died on March 4, 2002.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 16, 2006 at 1:30 pm from the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls and at 2:00 pm from the Holy Family Parish Church, Cor. Main & John St's, Little Falls where a mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Anthony Ligato. Interment will take place in St. Mary's Cemetery, Town of Herkimer.
Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the funeral home on Thursday, June 15, 2006 from 5-8 pm and to attend the funeral services Friday afternoon.
