LITTLE FALLS - Lila I. Zawtocki, 72 of 17 Loomis Street, Little Falls passed away Friday, December 29, 2006 at Little Falls Hospital. She was born on April 15, 1934 in Little Falls the daughter of the late Cecil C. and Ethel (Hannay) Bronson, Sr. She was educated in Little Falls High School. She was united in marriage to her Edward B. Zawtocki, Sr. on June 28, 1952 at Scared Heart Church, Little Falls. Mr. Zawtocki predeceased her on June 3, 1984. She was a member of the Holy Family Parish Church, Little Falls. Mrs. Zawtocki was employed at onetime by the former Little Falls Felt Shoe Co. and the Allegro Shoe Corp. For many years assisted her husband in the operation of the White Rose Bakery, Little Falls and was last employed as a cook for the Best Western, Little Falls. A loving mother and grandmother who found great joy in cooking for her family and friends. She enjoyed spending time with her many friends, bowling, playing cards and attending Bingo. She is survived by 3 sons Edward B. Zawtocki, Jr., Little Falls, Ronald D. Zawtocki and his wife Mary Lynn, Little Falls and Gregory J. Zawtocki and his wife Melissa, Albany, 4 daughters Lorraine Zawtocki, Little Falls, Christine Zawtocki, Little Falls, Pamela Tretola and her husband James, Little Falls and Karen Borquez and her husband Patrick, Jefferson, NY, 2 brothers Cecil C. Bronson Jr. and his wife Mary and Leslie I. Bronson and his wife Ann both of Little Falls, a sister Bernice Mikus, Little Falls, 13 grandchildren Edward Popiel and his wife Sue, Michael Popiel and his wife Laura and Andrea Popiel, Edward Zawtocki, Ryan Zawtocki, Cari Alukonis, Ronald Zawtocki and his wife Amanda, Elaine Zawtocki, Matthew Vohid, Kyle Vohid, Rachel Crim, Patrick Borquez and Katie Borquez, 7 great grandchildren Nathan, Marissa, Jacob, Benjamin and Maegan Popiel, Callie Gorman and Grace Zawtocki, a brother in law Chet Zawtocki and his wife Debbie, Arizona a sister in Law Ada Widanka, Little Falls and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 2 sisters Marie Pierce and Vivian Devereese Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2007 at 10:30 am from the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street,, Little Falls with the Rev. Anthony Ligato, Pastor of the Holy Family Parish, Little Falls officiating. Interment will take place in St. Mary's Cemetery, Town of Herkimer. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 3, 2007 from 5-8 pm and to attend the funeral services on Thursday morning. It is the wish of the family that contributions in memory of Mrs. Zawtocki be considered to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Envelopes are also available at the funeral home for this purpose.
