Obituary of Lodjia K. Graudons

LITTLE FALLS - Lodjia K. Graudons, 89 of Top Notch Drive, Little Falls passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2007 at the Van Allen Nursing Home, Little Falls where she had been a resident since November of 2006. She was born on September 27, 1917 in Starkville, NY the daughter of the late William and Mary (Francek) Bednarski. She was educated in the town of Stark Rural Schools. She was united in marriage to her husband of 48 years William H. Graudons, Sr. on October 30, 1937 at the Christ Lutheran Church, Little Falls with the Rev. JFK Rebiseil officiating. Mr. Graudons predeceased her on November 19, 1985. She was a active member of the Christ Lutheran Church, Little Falls. As well as a life member of the Auskerada, Maquaes, Rock City Chapter # 204, OES, Dolgeville. Mrs. Graudons was employed for many years by the former Allegro Shoe Corp., Little Falls. She is survived by her son William H. Graudons, Jr. and his wife Sheila, Syracuse, 2 sisters Sophia Moshier and her husband Leonard, Little Falls and Wanda Keba, Gloversville, 4 grandchildren Renee Lane and her husband Joseph, Skaneateles, NY, Michelle Clayton and her husband James, Niagara Falls, NY Sheila Lemmerman and Elizabeth Lemmerman both of Syracuse and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother Zigmunt Bednarski and a sister Katherine Madison. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 9, 2007 at 12:00 pm from the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls with Vicar Naomi Sorrwar-Randall of the Christ Lutheran Church, Little Falls officiating. Interment will take place in Mt. View Memorial Gardens, town of Little Falls later in the spring. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the funeral home on Monday, April 9, 2007 from 10 am - 12 pm and to attend the funeral services to follow. It is the wish of the family that contributions in memory of Mrs. Graudons be considered to the Christ Lutheran Church, 14 Petrie t., Little Falls, NY 13365. Envelopes are also available at the funeral home for this purpose.
