Obituary of Lynn R. Wolowice

FORT PLAIN - Lynn R. Wolowice, 60 formerly of 118 Dygert Rd. Palatine Bridge and for the past 2 years of 1 Dairy St. Ft. Plain where he resided with his daughter Pamela Lewis passed away Monday, March 11, 2013 at the Bassett Health Care Center, Cooperstown. He was born on February 17, 1953 in Little Falls the son of Margaret (Cook) Wolowice and the late Marion Wolowice. He was a graduate of St. Johnsville High School. He united in marriage to his wife of 30 years the former Karen A. Dillenbeck on July 5, 1975 at the St. Johnsville United Methodist Church. Mrs. Wolowice predeceased him on September 7, 2005. Mr. Wolowice was employed by the Empire Fiberglass Co., Little Falls where he was a Supervisor for many years. He was a member at onetime of the Salisbury Ridge Runners Club and the Dolgeville Rod & Gun Club. Mr. Wolowice is survived by his mother Margaret Wolowice, Ballston Spa, his daughters Melissa Hotaling and companion Christopher Pattillo, Virginia Beach, VA, Pamela Lewis and husband Shawn, Ft. Plain and Angela (Lea) Miranda and husband Pasquale, Virginia Beach, VA, his brother Roger Wolowice (Cheryl), Cottonwood, AZ and his sister Kathy Coon and companion Jerry Farrington, Ballston Spa, 8 grandchildren Brandon Handy, Kristin Swank, Sabrina Richtmyer, Lexus Richtmyer, Alayna Miranda, Anna Maria Miranda, Jakeb Mosher and Kassidi Coffin and several nieces nephews. He was predeceased by a granddaughter Krystle E. Swank on November 3, 1996. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 15, 2013 at 10:00 am from the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls. Interment will follow at Ft. Plain Cemetery, Fort Plain. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the funeral home on Thursday, March 14, 2013 from 5-8 pm and to attend the funeral services Friday morning.
