Obituary of Margaret (Peggy) Sadlon

LITTLE FALLS Margaret (Peggy) Sadlon, 89 of 760 E. Monroe Street, (Valley View Courts) Apt. B-1, Little Falls passed away Saturday, September 26, 2009 at Little Falls Hospital where she had been a patient since September 10, 2009. She was born on November 7, 1919 in St. Johnsville the daughter of the late William and Minnie Ellen (Mulvihill) Cushing. She attended St. Marys Academy, Little Falls. In 1944 she was united in marriage to her husband of 62 years Samuel Sadlon. He predeceased her on April 19, 2006. She was a member of the Holy Family Parish Church, Little Falls. Mrs. Sadlon was employed for a number of years in various dress factories in Little Falls. She was last employed as a matron for the New York State Thruway Authority at Little Falls. Retiring in 1987 after 11 years of service. She is survived by several nieces, nephews and many friends. She was also predeceased by her sister Katherine Pollard in September 15, 1984. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at 10:00 am from the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls with the Rev. Anthony Ligato, Pastor of the Holy Family Parish Church, Little Falls officiating. Interment will take place in Holy Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Little Falls. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 29, 2009 from 5-8 pm and to attend the funeral services to follow.
