Obituary of Mary R. Bacher

LITTLE FALLS Mary R. Bacher, 92 of Burwell Street, Little Falls passed away Sunday, June 23, 2013 at her residence. She was born on July 11, 1920, in Little Falls the daughter of the late Reuben S. and Catherine (Gormley) Bacher. She was a graduate of St. Marys Academy, Little Fall, and Cobleskill College, Miss. Bacher was a communicant of Holy Family Church, Little Falls, and a member of the Rosarians. She enjoyed traveling with her sister Alice to casinos in Las Vegas, Atlantic City and Connecticut. For many years she was employed as office manager of the Little Falls Evening Times. She was employed for twenty years prior by Cherry-Burrell Corp., Little Falls. She is survived by her nephew R. Kevin Bacher and his wife Linda of Liverpool, NY; Two nieces Gail Bacher Kimmel and her husband William of Cocoa Beach, FL and Cheryl Bacher Trousdale and her husband Kenneth of Peyton, CO; and seven grand nieces and nephews: Bethaney B. Gresock (Allan), M. Brian Bacher (Shanna), Kristin M. Bacher, W. Christopher Kimmel (Audrey), Michelle K. Keefer (Jason), Kathryn A. Kimmel and K. Matthew Trousdale. She was predeceased by her brother James Ray Bacher on April 24, 2006, by her sister Alice C. Bacher on December 25, 2007 and her sister-in-law Elizabeth J. Bacher on August 29, 2009. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 1, 2013 at 11:00 am from the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls, NY with the Rev. Thomas Lawless officiating. Interment will take place in Rural Park Cemetery, Inghams Mills, NY. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the funeral home on Monday, July 1, 2013 from 10-11 am and to attend the funeral services to follow. In Lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Miss. Bacher to Holy Family Church, 763 E. Main Street, Little Falls, NY 13365. Envelopes are also available at the funeral home for this purpose.
