Obituary of Elizabeth C. Metot

LITTLE FALLS - Elizabeth C. Metot, 85 of 55 Glen Ave., Little Falls passed away Friday, April 8, 2005 at her residence. She was born on July 3, 1919 in Little Falls the daughter of the late Joseph and Marion (Botony) Cvetezar. She was educated at St. Mary's Academy , Little Falls. She was united in marriage to her husband of 59 years Timothy L. Metot, Sr. on December 28, 1945 at St. Mary's Church, Little Falls. Mrs. Metot was a member of the Holy Family Parish of Little Falls. as well as a member of the Little Falls Homemakers Home Bureau. She also enjoy voicing her opinion regarding local politics. She was employed at one time for many years by the former P & K Dress Co., Little Falls. She was last employed in the Housekeeping Dept. of Little Falls Hospital, retiring in 1981. She is survived by her husband Timothy, Sr., a son Timothy L. Metot, Jr., and his wife Margaret, Dolgeville, 3 daughters Elizabeth J. Metot, Amsterdam, Linda Metott, Denver, CO and Natalie Grippe, Chicopee, MA, a sister Mary Cvetezar, Michigan, 5 grandchildren Jeffrey Metot, Michael, Anne and Gina Ciani and Eddie Westbrook, 2 great grandchildren Chandler and Jeffrey Metot. She was predeceased by 2 brothers Walter and Joseph Cvetezar and a sister Helen Primmar. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 12, 2005 at 11:00 am from the Holy Family Parish Church, Cor. Main & Johns St's, Little Falls where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Anthony Ligato. In keeping with Mrs. Metot's wishes cremation will follow. Final interment will take place in St. Mary's Cemetery, Town of Herkimer. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls on Monday, April 11, 2005 from 5-8 pm and to attend the funeral services Tuesday morning. In lieu of flowers it is the wish of the family that contributions in memory of Mrs. Metot be considered to Hospice Care, Inc., 4277 Middle Settlement Rd., New Hartford, NY 13413. Envelopes are also available at the funeral home for this purpose.
