Obituary of Mildred Stoneburg

LITTLE FALLS - Mildred Stoneburg, 76 formerly of 76 Burwell Street, Little Falls passed away Sunday, December 5, 2004 at the home of her daughter Pamela Gardinier of 678 Paradise Road in the Town of Danube. She was born on March 3, 1928 in Freeport, LI, NY the daughter of the late Richard and Mildred (Mahnken) Mitchell. She was a graduate of Freeport High School class of 1946 as well as a gradate of the Bellevue Nursing School, New York City. She was married at onetime to Henry Stoneburg in Tidioute, PA. She was a member of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Little Falls and the WELCA of that church, as well as a member of the Rock City Chapter of the AARP, Little Falls Mrs. Stoneburg was employed for 25 years a Registered Nurse in the Maternity Department of Little Falls Hospital. Retiring in 1997. She is survived by her son Richard Stoneburg and his wife Laurie, Farmingdale, NY, 2 daughters Linda Bird and her husband Joseph, E. Petersburg, PA and Pamela Gardinier and her husband Richard, Jr., Little Falls, 2 sisters Joan Maloney, Deland, FL and Margaret Averell and her husband David, Little Falls, 5 grandchildren Melissa Hilts and her husband Robert, Jennifer Allen, Jessica Muller, Kathryn Davis and her husband Denny, Jr. and John Gardinier, 5 great grandchildren Robert and Krysta Hilts, Shelby Muller and Kierra and Emily Davis and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 9, 2004at 10:00 am from the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, E. Gansevoort Street, Little Falls with the Rev. Carl Evans, Pastor of officiating. Interment will take place in Rural Park Cemetery, Inghams Mills. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls on Wednesday, December 8, 2004 from 6-8 pm and to attend the funeral services Thursday morning. It is the wish of the family that contributions in memory of Mrs. Stoneburg be considered to the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 512 E. Gansevoort Street, Little Falls, NY 13365. Envelopes are also available at the funeral home for this purpose.
