Obituary of Elwood (Luts) Mueller

LITTLE FALLS - Elwood (Luts) Mueller 76 of 234 Church Street, Little Falls passed away Monday, September 12, 2005 at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center, Utica. He was born on September 12, 1929 in Little Falls the son of the late William and Sophie (Wagner) Mueller. He was a graduate of Little Falls High School Class of 1947 and attended Cornell University and Kansas State University. He was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church, Little Falls. As well as a member of the Little Falls Elk's Lodge # 42, B.P.O.E., Little Falls German Maennechor and was a past Governor of the Little Falls Moose Lodge, IOOM. Mr. Mueller was employed for many years as the Golf Pro at the Little Falls Municipal Golf Course. Prior to the golf course he worked with his father in the operation of the family cattle business and beef farm. He is survived by his life time companion Ann L. Tibbitts, Little Falls, 2 brothers Dr. Ernest Mueller and his wife Martha, Charlottesville, VA and Arvin Mueller and his wife Annette, Oxford, MI, a sister in law Phyllis Mueller , Little Falls and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by 2 brothers Arnold Mueller, who died on August 7, 1939 and Allen W. Mueller, who died on November 23, 1984. Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family from the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls with the Rev. James Paulson, Pastor of the Christ Lutheran Church, Little Falls officiating. Interment will take place in Church Street Cemetery, Little Falls. There are no calling hours.
