Obituary of Olga K. Toher

LITTLE FALLS - Olga K. Toher, 92 formerly of 79 Burwell Street, Little Falls passed away Sunday, February 4, 2007 at the Folts Home, Herkimer where she had been a resident since February of 2003. She was born on August 10, 1914 in New Britain, Conn. the daughter of the late Feodor and Natalie (Panasevich) Karpey. She was educated in the Town of Fairfield Rural Schools. She was united in marriage to her husband of 45 years Thomas E. Toher on September 2, 1945 at St. Joseph's Church, Dolgeville. Mr. Toher predeceased her on January 17, 1990. She was a member of the Holy Family Parish Church, Little Falls and it's Rosarians. As well as a member of the former Little Falls Lady Elk's. Mrs. Toher was employed as a seamstress at onetime for the former Daniel Green Co., Dolgeville as a well as by the former P & K Dress Co., Little Falls. She was last employed in the Packing Dept. for the Salada Foods Corp., Little Falls, retiring in 1976. She is survived by her 2 daughters Lorraine G. Toher, Boston, Mass. and Eileen Hauser and her husband Alan, New Berlin, Wisc., 2 grandchildren Bridget Goede and Eric Hauser, 2 great grandchildren Tyler and Brianna and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 4 brothers Leonard, Alexander, Jack and Theodore Karpey and by 3 sisters Zenaida Cobak, Nona Haschuck and Mildred Kiesel. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 12, 2007 at 11:00 am from the Holy Family Parish Church, Cor. Main & John St's, Little Falls where a mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Anthony Ligato. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Dolgeville in the spring. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls on Sunday, February 11, 2007 from 3-6 pm and to attend the funeral services Monday morning. It is the wish of the family that contributions in memory of Mrs. Toher be considered to the Holy Family Parish Church, 763 E. Main St., Little Falls, NY 13365 or to the Folts Home, 104 N. Washington St., Herkimer, NY 13350. Envelopes are also available at the funeral home for this purpose.
