Obituary of Patrick A. Barnett

CICERO - Patrick A. Barnett,43, of Herbrides Trail, Cicero, NY passed away Monday, August 27, 2007 following a lengthy illness. He was born on August 17, 1964 in Utica, the son of Florence (Ingersoll) Kahler and the late Robert Barnett. He was a graduate of Dolgeville High School Class of 1982 as well as a graduate of Onondaga County Community College, Syracuse. He was pursuing his Bachelors degree in Information Technology at Syracuse University. He was of the Methodist faith. Patrick enjoyed being outdoors where his interest included riding snowmobiles, motorcycles, four wheelers and boating. He also enjoyed spending time using his computer. Patrick will be remember by his family and friends for his wonderful sense of humor and compassion for others. He is survived by his mother Florence Kahler, Harlingen, TX, a son Robert Dellone, Meyersdale, PA, 2 brothers Ernest E. Barnett and his wife Faith, Belding, MI and Carl E. Barnett and his wife Cherilyn, Douglasville, PA, 2 sisters Cindy M. Near and her companion Brian Molinaro, Little Falls and Rev. Roberta J. Mansell and her husband Rev. Perry Mansell, Morganton, NC, several nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews and his canine friend Zachary. He was predeceased by his father Robert Barnett on October 9, 1990, and by his step father Edwin Kahler, on December 15, 1986. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, September 1, 2007 at 10:00 am from the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls, with the Dr. Thomas Worth, Syracuse officiating. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the funeral home on Saturday, September 1, 2007 from 9-10 am and to attend the services to follow. It is the wish of the family that contributions in memory of Patrick be considered to the Central New York SPCA, 5878 East Molloy Road, Syracuse, NY 13211. Envelopes are also available at the funeral home for this purpose.
