Obituary of Edna M. Pelzer
LITTLE FALLS - Edna M. Pelzer, 82 of Snells Bush Road, Little Falls passed away unexpectedly Thursday, September 7, 2006 at her residence.
She was born on May 15, 1924 in Herkimer the daughter of the late Ernest E. and Edna M. (Grose) Gay. She was a graduate of Herkimer High School and pursued her nursing education in New York City.
She was united in marriage to John P. Pelzer on November 22, 1969 at the First United Methodist Church, Little Falls. Mr. Pelzer predeceased her on June 28, 1974.
She was of the Methodist faith. She was a life member of the Michael Plesik Post# 4915, VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Herkimer and a member of the Evening Star Chapter # 82, OES, Ilion.
Mrs. Pelzer was employed for many years as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Little Falls Hospital.
She is survived by her bother Charles E. Gay, Geneva, NY and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend graveside memorial services to be held on Monday, September 18, 2006 at 1:00 pm at the Rural Park Cemetery, Inghams Mills with the Rev. Rebecca Laird, Pastor of the Dolgeville Untied Methodist Church officiating.
Arrangements are by the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls. There are no calling hours.
