Reba Roberts ILION - Reba I. Roberts, 93 formerly of 428 Avery Road, Ilion and since February 14, 2003 a resident of the Mohawk Valley Nursing Home, Ilion passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2004 at that residence. She was born on April 2, 1910 in Ilion the daughter of the late Frank C. and Lena (Mott) Rowell. She was educated in Herkimer and Ilion schools. She was united in marriage to Louis N. Englebrecht, who predeceased her on September 3, 1995. She was again united in marriage to Worth J. Roberts, who predeceased her in 1957. Mrs. Roberts was employed at onetime by the former Remington Cash Register & Typewriter Co., Ilion and by Marcy State Hospital. She was last employed as a billing clerk for the former Palatine Dye Co., St. Johnsville, retiring in 1974. She is survived by 2 sons Irving T. Englebrecht and his wife Donna, Auburn and Gordon R. Roberts and his wife Joyce, Mohawk, a daughter in law Shirley Englebrecht, Ilion, 6 grandchildren Janet Hitchcock and her husband Paul, Connie Dygert, Robin Church and her husband Mark, Donald Englebrecht and his wife Linda, Jeffrey Englebrecht and his wife Maria and Dean Englebrecht and 12 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter Marion Englebrecht, who died in 1931, her son Louis N. Englebrecht, who died on October 27, 1995 and by her brother Clinton A. Rowell, who died in 1976. Graveside services will be held in Church Street Cemetery, Little Falls in the spring Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the funeral home on Friday, January 9, 2003 from 4-7 pm and to attend the graveside services at a time and date to be announced. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Mohawk Valley Nursing Home and the staff of the Forth floor and Dr. William Parker.
