Obituary of Robert L. Clark

WASHINGTON, PA - Robert L. Clark, 78 of Washington, PA formerly of Las Vegas, NV and Little Falls passed away Monday, July 30, 2007 in the Washington County Health Center. He was born on April 14, 1929 in Canton, NY the son of the late Harold and Edgarita (Blankman)Clark. Mr. Clark graduated form Dolgeville High School and continued his education, interning to become a journeyman plumber and eventually a registered, master plumber. He retired as county inspector for the County of Las Vegas, NV, where he was instrumental in residential and casino building development. Mr. Clark was a member of Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus of Washington, PA. He loved the Adirondack Mountains, where he built a cabin. On April 15, 1950 in St. Mary's Church, Little Falls he married Catherine W. Welton. Mr. Clark was the caregiver for his wife following her illness, until her death on August 20, 2004. Surviving are daughter, Jane Sefcik, Washington, PA, two brothers, Harry Clark, Waverly, NY and Alan Clark, Washington, PA, a sister Alice Haupt, Las Vegas, NV, three grandsons, Paul Sefcik, Bridgeville, PA, Jason (Renee) Sefcik, Pickerington OH and Thomas Sefcik, Washington, PA, a great grandson Christopher and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Frederick and a sister Jane, who died in infancy. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, August 1, 2007 in Washington, PA. Interment will take place in St. Mary's Cemetery, Town of Herkimer at the convenience of the family. Local arrangements are by the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls.
